ATT does not allow one to switch from 5G to 4G on the Galaxy 25 S and other Android phones. It is shaded out in settings and Samsung says it is ATT adding this to the phones they sell. If buy one from Samsung can disable. Are there devs out there that can re enable this feature?

They are alive and well. This us what I would highly recommend for an amazing android experience without all the evil from Google. Motorola devices and one plus seem to be some of the easiest ones for getting it up and running smoothly. Samsung's are very much a pain in the ass, but doable too. They have an extensive device list and their community support is excellent.
Thanks Beave, was away for a while. I carry mine in a faraday bag to help and turn off censors...better than nothing and I know shouldn't use at all but enjoy the convenance part of the slick Galaxy S25 Plus and got it free from damn att promo lol. Now I do not know what to do as you mentioned. How bout the LineageOS as TheLegendaryMan posted? What about Graphene OS or whatever it's called. Is that what you're talking about? I just basically want to turn off the damn 5g when I want to. And ATT won't allow it no more on the Galaxy 25S but can still do on iPhone with ATT but probably not for long. I appreciate your input!
