A good place to start would be Tao: The Pathless Path. He also has other Tao-related discourses collected under Tao: The Three Treasures.
You may also come across the Wild Wild Country documentary. It’s worth remembering that it presents only one perspective, and there are many differing views on what happened—especially during the period when Ma Anand Sheela was put in charge.
I’d encourage doing your own research and, more importantly, reading or listening to what he actually taught.
Interestingly, for many people the documentary had the opposite effect and sparked a deeper curiosity about his teachings. Many universities around the world include his talks and writings in their curricula, and many in India regard him as a national treasure.
I personally enjoyed it, and in my experience being immersed in his teachings, that is where the real value lies.
Osho often contradicted himself intentionally. He was a Zen master—he didn’t want followers to become ideological or robotic, but to think and experience directly.
He’s also well known for his ability to explain different religious texts in ways many people find clearer than traditional leaders within those same traditions.
