If an AI bot is introduced into a group, it would have to know of the group's encryption keys, just like any ordinary member. The AI bot can see all the messages. This seems to undermine the purpose of building high-quality end-to-end encrypted group chats, doesn't it? Additionally, Telegram groups do not offer end-to-end encryption.
If someone in the group runs the ai or is just proxying when it is requested to that wouldn't matter. Ie if I ask what is the bitcoin price, the not could just fetch that data directly, however if I ask it to compare knots and core, it would then hit gemini or whatever model you choose with that question, you don't have to pass all the chat to the ai

In that case, the AI bot wouldn’t need to be a group member. What you really want is an easier way to send AI questions and answers into the group, and let others in the group ask questions and share the responses. Wouldn’t it be better to build this directly into the input box?
If you actually built it into the keychat input it would be too hard for folks to add features they want. Like a bot could be simple as monitor all messages starting with /, and /price means show the price in USD. But then someone will want euro and you'll have to say /price EUR or whatever which shouldn't require a new version of keychat, but a new version of the bot.
