🌞GM 🌞 NPR CEO calls first amendment a challenge in effort to “regulate” speech. Fascinating. One minute of research reveals that NPR CEO is chair of Signal foundation board. Previously served as CEO of censorship maxi organization Wikimedia. Not surprised about NPR, and Wikipedia. What does this say about Signal though🤔

Good question.👍 And the fact she's a WEF puppet only raises more concerns about signal

To all those worried about this must be forgetting that signal is open source

Why? Is she the head of a platform capable of censorship?
It’s a great question. Do you know the answer? I don’t. If not, what other pressure can a censorship apparatchik place on Meredith and signal team?

@JeffG has eyes on the source code, and is implementing a solution to integrate the protocol into nostr. Maybe he is in on it too. How many eyes are on the Signal source code vs SimpleX? Why isn't Jeff copying SimpleX source code instead?
Signal’s aim of allowing others to “speak freely” goes against what the board member Maher advocates for. Why does this observation upset you? I’m not aware of a censorship maxi on the SimpleX board. As for implementation questions, Jeff can advise. Good luck to you.

Have a look at @Keychat None of these platforms are sustainable if they depend on donations.

Because I listen to what people do, not what they say. Talk is cheap.
Thanks 🙏. The technicals do not help me answer the questions I asked about censorship pressure from a board member.
