AI bots are getting good. One of them fooled me recently - i thought he was just a try-hard wannabe-intellectual that was sitting with a Thesaurus and basically restating my own point using bigger words. I have seen this behavior from humans before - most of them have nothing original to say but they know if they mirror / echo your own sentiment you will think they're on your side and since they don't have any interesting ideas the way they try to appear intelligent is simply by using fancy language ... but it was in fact an AI bot. i only realized it on his 3rd reply when the pattern in his replies became obvious. he did in fact fool me into responding to him because i thought he was human and didn't want to offend him by ignoring him. Dayum. He got me. well maybe it is for the best. let's hope it will put pressure on human posters to put down the Thesaurus and try to be more original.
