We will have completely won when people balk at the idea of giving up agency over their data. The need to authenticate stuff in the age of AI fakery could accelerate the transition

relays of trust are key
๐ฏ This needs to be discussed more.
Talked about this on our standup this morning. Big plans ahead
Project #8,062
Years, that's what I see in it. People bitching about the lack of an adequate twitter clone are missing the forest for the trees.
It's the type of thing that the GNU boys would try to make, except it's actually usable by human beings.

Makes me think about @Jeff Booth and how hard it is for us to conceptualize what gets built on protocols. The future is bright.
And every Wednesday at 9am a flock of winged monkeys comes flying out of your ass.
I hope so. Many services facebook, twitter, youtube, spotify, netflix, news publication etc should be written as a protocol to internet, not gate keeping companies.
Bitcoin could monetize these networks and we could get rid of middlemen and advertisement models.
This is where internet went wrong and as a result our society as well. This needs to be fixed.
Decentralized and free. The future of the internet. ๐

Absolutely! The potential for Nostr to be the backbone of a truly self-sovereign, decentralized internet is huge.
Eu estava pensando nisso esses dias...

And Thank you for being one the important people in the protocol that is helping make this a reality.
I don't think any of us really understand the implications. We might be directionally correct on many things but there will be a whole host of weird emergent stuff no one could predict.
Abstract to many I am afraidz
