I'm sure I don't know enough about your source files. I just know it would be easy if you're starting with something like a Word document. But I'm guessing you're not using something like that. So I don't know.

It's just markdown, though, and with a little comand-line massaging and text munging it went just fine. Might add this to my standard set of formats.

Now that I think of it, Calibre (FOSS ebook reader/editor) should be able to convert HTML to epub also. Not sure how well it can handle graphics and fancy formatting.
