my feed is regularly full of people arguing about some polarizing topic. bunch of negative energy. bout to cut my following list down to like 10 people.

i only follow a little more than 200 people. i was thinking that too re: lists. i might just write a script that backs up my following list in some other list kind, then build a few different following lists, and finally have the ability to swap between them

That's a good idea, it makes a huge difference and part of what makes Twitter tolerable for me. I have like 6/8 lists that are topical with 10-20 people
