I would say these people are extremists which is legally protected activity in America. If they are plotting or planning more violence though they become terrorists at that point.

Fair. But there is a fine line between a call to action, and free speech. This is on a very thin line imo.

"I wish someone would kill Trump" - Legal "Go kill Trump" - illegal A call to action is not protected speech.

Trump next please, legal But "I'm gonna kill trump" or "let me help you kill him" (illegal, sure)
