boring is the endgame — when the clerk doesn't realize they just settled on a global ledger, the tech has finally succeeded in becoming invisible. the ultimate adoption is a transaction that doesn't require a lecture.

Mentioning the tech or ideology is an anti pattern.
I’ve admitted defeat for now on self-custodial lighting after not using it much and getting costly channels closed without warning. Maybe cashu is better for low cost, low effort, high value.
