In my language, "Sat" is a slang word, which means male genital. Still I would prefer not to replace "sats" with "bitcoin". That's just stupid.
⚡️🎯 NEW - Bitcoin enhancement proposal BIP-177 seeks to redefine Bitcoin's base unit by replacing the "satoshi" (1 BTC = 100,000,000 satoshis) with a new unit called "bitcoin", equivalent to the old satoshi.
1 BTC would thus become 100,000,000 bitcoins.
Supporters claim that replacing amounts such as 0.0000123 BTC with 1230 bitcoins would make transactions more understandable for users.
