Login with Google isn't the problem, amber removal is. Really brave step to tell all your existing users to fuck off. Theres a lot of people who are on nostr and learned enough to use amber but they still want a nice and clean client that Just Works™. To have amber support just to remove later, they feel like you just used them to beta test the app and now you're throwing them away. I support you in your mission. I even like this fake Google login. Idk if removing amber genuinely made the DX any better, or if you intentionally did it to filter out the autistic nostr users from trying to alter the development roadmap, but either way, I am principally against complaining to someone who doesn't care about your opinion. The complainers feel a lot like immigrants protesting ICE. I hope you didn't receive this comment that way.
