Speed read. Rake leaves. Walk. Wash dishes. Make food. Find good woman.
So many books, so little time πŸ“š One lifetime is not enough πŸ’œ
A few minutes of contemplation are worth more than any meeting or report. So I read.
book list longer than ever before. I'm seriously envious of my teen who read over 70 books already this year. Hopefully our small human sleeps like a normal human soon so I can read more (& write some too) 🀩
What about Lord of the Rings, have you read that? Or at least The Hobbit
My current book - 'Imperial Reckoning, the untold story of Britain’s gulag in Kenya', on the atrocities and torture of colonizers on the Kikuyu people. The book is authored by Caroline Elkins, business econs prof from Harvard who specializes in African and African American Studies. It was a nice coincidence to read it this week alongside African Bitcoin Conf. The stories were devastating but the people are truly incredible and resilient, with an indomitable will to keep moving forward.
if i had a situation where i was locked into a corporate holding of most of my wealth, but i had bitcoin elsewhere, i would sooner rather than later buy gold with it, then resign from the corporation. that's what i would do.
*click to sell* - i remember an interview you said you bought as much as possible everyday.... which is excellent security as long as it is considered valuable. blackmarkets always collapse, mainly because of lack of interest. i am telling you as an historian; a step ahead is the difference between humility and arrogance.
