What a fun game. He could have revealed himself to the world and left no doubt to any human. But this way he gets to burn billions of good people for all eternity. I guess this makes sense for a guy who sent his only son to be murdered for no reason. He could have just forgiven everyone. But no, he wanted to put on a brutal murderous show.

This reaches the crux of why people make a conscious effort not to believe in God. It is far more logical that this was all created with intention rather than the notion that our existence came about by some mind-bogglingly improbable random chance. People who go out of their way not to believe are not following the path of logical least resistance but rather putting forth mental effort to ignore an obvious truth. They do this because they are angry with God. They feel that they have been dealt unfairly for being placed in an existence where they must struggle and earn redemption. But God requires proof of work from us. Satan tells us we should merely be given what we feel we are owed. God tells us we must earn it by our works.
