People also don't care about centralized money, or security, or anything. They should not be cared about. They will continue to be controlled until they feel the pain and look for alternatives. You can't save someone that doesn't know they are in danger, they will fight you. They will fight you no matter how easy you make the solution because it's not the system. "But all my friends are on Facebook" doesn't change if you make a better UX or banish relay talk. Decentralized systems are not a product, they are the solution. If you build it, they will come.

With time, the decentralized platforms will have better UX than centralized platforms. Open-source outcompetes closed-source.
