Sure, agreed. Are you sure that's happening, and the supposed charges aren't fallacious and intended just to give them an excuse to attack the protesters? Doesn't the narrative seem awfully convenient?

If the protestors weren't blatantly advertising that they intend to stop ICE, instead of just protesting, then sure, I'd give credence to your perspective.
But the anti-ICE messaging has stopped being just protests and is voicing direct opposition and prohibition.
ICE has been excessively violent from the start. I don't remember protests at the start, but I can't say that with certainty.
Besides, what is the point of our legal protections of rights if people must roll over when the government does something wrong? I'm not claiming to know if its wrong - its their perspective. What would you do if the government sent thugs to take away your family? Just roll over and say its the government and resisting wouldn't be acceptable because its the government? No, I know you would fight when necessary. But if you leave the fight to the last moment, ignoring all the other points where you could have made a difference, then you will just lose, and you will have to blame yourself. Do you think ICE will just go home after the job is done? Haven't you been watching their behavior? Those aren't normal police. Those are dangerous people, exactly the same types of people that wore the brown shirts in 1930's Germany. They use threats and intimidation to get their way. They aren't going home, they're here to take all the pieces. Just watch their behavior. Listen to how they speak. They're on camera plenty.
Idk man. I'm in "takeover the government" mode at this point. So it's hard to say definitely what my actions would be.
Do I think ICE is going to occupy Minneapolis indefinitely? Nope.
Maybe it'd be better to setup a perimeter around the city for a siege style operation. 🤔
