Nostr is largely populated by morons, seeking not to do anything actually good. It's the platform of noise, it's always been. "Bitcoin, bitcoin, bitcoin, zap zap zap zap". Now that calmed down a little and pests wrote bots to infest Nostr. For whatever reason, Nostr attracts this kind of mind shape. Whether it's about having one's identity revolving around a currency, getting involved in the most downright moronic conspiracy theories, or vibeshitting to the extreme, it's always about getting super hyped about whatever some cultish community is making people have strong feelings about.
