You're not wrong. I just choose to stay around because eventually all the people riding the next big thing will drift away.
Nostr is still young, it will mature.
Selling it as the home of counter culture might be an easier sell to some folks.
I guess I'm trying to say, don't force Nostr to grow. It will do that all on it's own.

This does seem the kind of people that Nostr attracts.
Nostr is largely populated by morons, seeking not to do anything actually good.
It's the platform of noise, it's always been.
"Bitcoin, bitcoin, bitcoin, zap zap zap zap".
Now that calmed down a little and pests wrote bots to infest Nostr.
For whatever reason, Nostr attracts this kind of mind shape. Whether it's about having one's identity revolving around a currency, getting involved in the most downright moronic conspiracy theories, or vibeshitting to the extreme, it's always about getting super hyped about whatever some cultish community is making people have strong feelings about.
