also, a really good reminder. i've scarcely even seen police since moving to the north of madeira. one spoke to me once when i rode a bicycle the wrong way down a one way street. yeah i'd rather not see one ever again. i may just stay here in the dank hills of northern madeira and never go anywhere else again until after the EU is ded.
