What are the arguments / benefits for using Markor compared to Obsidian?

i've never tried obsisdian. in my case i just want to write to markdown files and edit them with my favorite text editor (vim) on the desktop. markor gives me all i need, plus the file browsing on android.

I unterstand your usecase. 🫡 I use vim-motions on desktop in Obsidian.

do you use any of the linking and graph features in obsidian?

I use the linking function daily (they are very handy for searching information), and the graph features rarely.
