Why do they want you to eat cheap fake food? They want you to reach peak profitability and then die, kinda like a cow. If you spend too much money on food, how will you have left over money to make them rich?

To make you sick
I do not deny that the medical pharmaceutical complex is roughly triple the size (in annual government spending dollar terms) than the military industrial complex (this is a serious fact and this underplays the size because lots of people pay in to the system but not on the government dime), and that’s a profound incentive to “make work” in medicine, but the government doesn’t want you sick. They want you to be cost-free making babies and/or paying taxes or to become quickly dead/otherwise cost-free should neither condition remain true.
Pharma wants you sick, you’re more profitable that way. The food complex plays a critical role in achieving that goal. I don’t think that’s debatable.
Agreed. And we must use the term “food” loosely.
