Tailscale will let you expose services to your own tailnet and any client you install it on can access those services. If you want to provide access to devices /users without the client, such as a website that anyone can hit, then it won’t work for your needs.

Yeah you can make it work with any reverse proxy tool if you also have a remote VPS, but my idea was to find something like cloudflare tunnel where you don't need anything else other than your local machine where you are running the service. The problem with cloudflare is that it acts as a middle man able to see the actual payload, as it will expose your service with their certificates.
