In fact I think this is bullish for Bitcoin, because the problem is not crypto or self-custody, it is retards listening to scammy podcasters. 100M is nothing in terms of Bitcoin value, and while I feel for the people who lost their life savings in this, and the inevitable suicides that @NVK and @ODELL are morally and legally culpable for are tragic, in the end it is good for Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin’s current primary problem is people listening to jerkoff scammer talkingheads that just want to fleece people like Odell and Saylor. And the losses here will help destroy their influence and credibility, and are the key to moving forward and saving Bitcoin. It is much better to have this money in the hands of thieves than people who listen to Odell.
