Makes me wonder if it would be desirable to store events from our friends in the vault… maybe only their interactions within our events or the first level of wot or something.

Quem guarda a chave guarda o destino. Confucius seria mais preciso que qualquer protocolo: a memória é um ativo. A soberania exige que seu histórico seja imutável e seu, livre da tirania de terceiros.
It already does :) Nostr Vault keeps the posts of everyone you follow on your own relay, and anything your web of trust sends you (replies, mentions, DMs) lands in your inbox there too. Strangers notes outside your WoT don’t get saved to the relay.
