Next time explain to him, that you forgot your wallet and that you can pay him directly with Bitcoin. These are situations that very well serve to orange pill people. Don't waste them like they mean nothing.

Next time I'll bring my wallet & pay with shitty fiat. These are big box stores that opened near the freeway. It's hard enough to use cash in one of them.
Why give them money at all if you don't like them. Find other ways to purchase stuff you need.
