Yep. That’s not good. So I don’t support it, not just for US ,for any country.
The US has a strong history of using such events and disasters to take over peoples rights of freedom, privacy away. What’s happening now is one such event.
Arson's still illegal. There's plenty to complain about how Blue cities are being managed, and many on the center-left (c.f. Ezra Klein, etc) do so -- but they aren't "burning". That's Fox News propaganda.
However, what we have now is a _stated_, and official policy of the State department demanding social media credentials from foreign Visa applicants. To judge their "purity" I guess? Who exactly gets to be the judge of that?
