Admitting to yourself that you’re halfway to dead is scary for a lot of my millennial peers, but it’s important to admit. Because then you realize there’s only so much time left and you become more prudent about how you spend it.

Tired of lying in the sunshine Staying home to watch the rain And you are young and life is long And there is time to kill today And then one day you find Ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run You missed the starting gun And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Actually death isn't based on age, waking up as early as possible is the best advice
And if you have runway to take things slow and not feel pressured, its a gift. I got laid off in March, start a new job on the 24th, but wasn't even looking for the first few months. I was just playing with my kids and my bitcoin.
I'm gonna live until I'm 120, or at least 110 if I get to go with my husband when he turns 120, so being in my 30s I'm not halfway for many more years! 😇😎

Life becomes more precious as you recognize the severity of this timeline. It is easier to eliminate things though; people, places, things that sap your energy, joy, motivation, become easier to cull from your activities and thoughts.

Yeah, that’s a tough realization, but I think it’s a healthy one. Time starts feeling a lot more valuable once you stop assuming you have endless amounts of it.
Embracing mortality clarifies priorities, like focusing on nutrient-dense animal foods.

Half way at best* Could be tomorrow!
Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, nor dose it ever come. ⏰ Carpe diem. 💯
