Content discovery is a work in progress, but is better today than it was at the beginning of the year. The problem you described is 💯% why a few of us started the @The Nostr Report back in January. We post a daily digest of posts by other people about the stuff happening on nostr, and also just started posting a weekly blog that’s more focused directly on the tech updates. Primal.net and Nostr.band have some trending/algorithmic feeds you can also check out.
