But, no sense wasting the opportunity to make fun of Mississippi for being unable to think for themselves.... and for emulating the EU.

We'll see. Because of Bitchat, Russia will soon block those nostr relays that are hardcoded in the client.
Less important with a client, but perhaps a good reason to not invest in a legal entity for making a business around one. Which is sad really.
Maybe. At least until big institutions adopt nostr for some if not all things.
should primal be worried? @jack

Will probably still be regulated. Just by the biggest companies instead. Same as with everything else.
Meh. You can't regulate the nostr protocol. If you did, then wouldn't be the very thing that makes nostr rad.
I mean the clients, not the protocol. That was my point about starting a company with a client at the center.
Of course the government will go after client owners. I don't think that should surprise anyone. My point is that it's less relevant since we use a decentralized protocol. It will only hurt those clients, unlike with X, Facebook, or anyone who controls servers.
I think it's bullshit, but businesses are easier to target. Just reality.
Hmmmm... Sure.
Unbelievable, this all is.

Their goal is to control information flow and sentiment of the big masses, which will always consume software provided by corporations who can be attacked by regulators.
They can't really ban it, but make it effectively invisible for almost all people
Indeed. They just need to make it inconvenient enough for normal people
