Even if it didn't get any more adoption, you have a ton of people that use it as money and it allows them to use money in a better way. Even if it didn't appreciate anymore, at least it wouldn't go down like fiat

to be fair, as it slid from here to [some much lower price] it would feel very much like inflationary fiat, as far as price of goods and services denominated in usd goes. everything would be "getting more expensive".
in reality, a pure money, with its value defined by the market, will never have a fixed price in another unit of account ("stops appreciating" / "stops dropping"). ...but 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin..
