So… I just #gotmarried.
I, the luckiest man alive, was accepted and taken to be a husband by a lady, whose smarts, beauty and kindness are priceless and certainly otherworldly.
Whether nostr:nprofile1qqs0em6hmacq96qtdht0662krlpa3vqf8z3ll5cv7eycvaydqwnyg8cpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgqgmwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8xmn0wf6zuum0vd5kzmp6x5msz9xpkk made the right choice, well… that’s questionable, but I am certain I made the right one.
In terms of my #thoughts about #marriedlife so far, I have three:
- Once you’re married, it’s as if you joined an exclusive club of some sort. Not only other married people are more likely to help you out, but also having a wife to mention in negotiations or while organising stuff is very handy. It’s as if a magic word equal to “please, do it” is whispered and suddenly the plumber, the waiter, the secretary sorts you out in no time!
- Getting married is like increasing the depth of your relationship a thousandfold (and more), as with each next breath together it’s no longer just “you” in this world, and it makes it all the more enjoyable. It’s truly incredible and I did not expect such a dramatic change in experiencing life.
- If you choose well, and choose well you must, by marrying “your person” you essentially reserve an eternal seat for the best companion to sit right there by your side. If, by any chance, you like yourself as well, then essentially you just got yourself a perfect couple of partners for life.
All in all, I am incredibly blessed and happy to consider myself a husband to my love and I hope that through sharing this (rather out of place in terms of my usual content) post, I manage to encourage some of you to consider “taking such step” as well.
