Do you mean something like connecting the Keychat wallet to the Alby Hub via NWC?
Sort of, the protocol I used on my app was Bitcoin Connect. That’s the last thing I’ve found I can’t do on Keychat that I can do on my Firefox desktop with Alby extension.
We’re exploring a way to connect users’ existing Lightning wallets to Keychat, with Keychat acting purely as the front-end UI while the wallet continues to run on the user’s own server or desktop. This should deliver the outcome you’re after. (Screenshot from the Alby extension)

I think pretty much all options in that screen have some sort of NWC support.
CLN there for example is also connected through NWC.

It should be connecting to the Alby Hub—that is, the Lightning node and wallet. And Alby Go is just the wallet’s front-end UI?

and as mentioned it’s not only Alby Hub.
NWC is just that open messaging protocol to talk to wallets with encrypted messages through a relay.
thus nodes can run anywhere (behind firewalls and private networks, mobile devices, etc.)
That would make sense. Wouldn't this require logging in to Keychat with NWC via the Connections tab in Alby Hub? Approving permissions and such? @npub1xv8m...lk3x
yes. you give the app permissions to execute some payments for example.
And in @Keychat they would have an input box for the nostr+walletconnect right?
