For those interested, here's why we're upgrading our name from Orange Pill App to Club Orange:
We looked at the data: 3 word names are significantly harder to remember. We saw consistent misspellings (peel, pilled, up..) affecting search & discovery, and the word 'pill' was creating brand friction we couldn't ignore.
Why Club Orange? Simpler, more scalable, easier to remember and harder to misspell. It aligns better with what we're building: a home for Bitcoiners, everywhere.
I’m going to miss Orange Pill App, but it’s time for a new beginning.
Almost 3 years ago, we launched Orange Pill App as a simple idea: help Bitcoiners find each other in the real world.
We didn't know if anyone would show up.
But 19,000 of you did.
You didn't just download an app, you built something real. You started meetups, made lifelong friends, launched businesses together, found jobs, and yes, somebody even got married. 🧡
We've watched this community grow from an idea into a movement, and it's shown us something important: the orange pill is just the beginning.
What matters more is what comes after, the real connections, the in-person community, the place where Bitcoiners actually meet & build together.
That's why today, Orange Pill App is becoming Club Orange.
New name. Same mission: a home for Bitcoiners, everywhere.
