New law “Rights of media service providers” of the EU - EU can detain, or surveil or journalists, and threaten media with force to reveal sources. The term “disinformation” appears multiple times. Who determines “disinformation” - the tribunal of truth? State newspaper Pravda? Chilling totalitarianism creeping back in the #eulag.

You didnt read the whole thing. It’s in multiple places. Let me copy and paste for you: “paragraph 3, points (a) and (b), of this Article, Member States may take a measure referred to therein, provided that it: (a)is provided for by Union or national law; (b)is in compliance with Article 52(1) of the Charter and other Union law; (c)is justified on a case-by-case basis by an overriding reason of public interest and is proportionate; and (d)is subject to prior authorisation by a judicial authority…”
Funny story... I was attending out local council meeting for our region. Every meeting they chide us and say that this is a professional environment and we are not to speak to our dear servants in mean tones or inflection. They give us a 2 minute privilege (Which they suspend if they feel threatened.) After raising our parcel tax 3x. She (the chair)was chiding us about listening to conspiracies, misinformation, and disinformation. We just discovered that they edit their public meetings on youtube while affirming to us that they do not. There is very clear edits and even fancy cut transitions in the video. My turn came to speak and I scolded them for accusing us of misinformation and disinformation. How can we not be misinformed if they outright lie on the public record? Of course we would be misinformed when they misinform us. LOL They raise our tax 3x, increased the size of our administration 3x and implement projects that no one wants. Of course we are going to get mad! To sum it up. We are misinformed only because they misinform us and there is no way to become informed because they lie.💩 🤦‍♂️
