This isn’t about memes. It’s about economic incentives for artists/creators/entrepreneurs in a digital landscape. The incentives simply don’t exist on Nostr. You can argue that the incentives shouldn’t exist, and that’s your prerogative, but I wholeheartedly disagree.

I'd love it if, in the next few years, my photography, via whatever route, earned me a little income. If it does, great, if not, so be it. But shouldn't it be shared for the joy of sharing and creating? Different, of course, if you're selling physical goods. Like, for instance, I could sell prints of my photography, or collaborate with someone to turn the best of them in to paintings to sell etc adding more value to the original proposition. Not that I think it's good enough, but in theory. It's on those who want to make money to provide the reason for people to part with it. If they're not parting with it, find a way. Capitalism 101.
