So I might've just injured myself... A nurse on the phone was saying "go to the ER" and I'm like ๐ that seems excessive.
I was practicing with my new scooter, which is a way of riding I've never done cuz its the standing kind, like a skateboard with handles, and I crashed. At first I was just laughing, but then I realized my entire right side of my body was tingly-numb. So weird, like a line going straight down my middle, and tingling or numb everywhere from one eyebrow to my toes.
Its still tingly, but not as much. I don't think I'm going to the ER.

This is the way
Go to a chiropractor before you go the ER.
I just got a free visit. Hitting the pavement popped every single vertebra in my spine. Very satisfying.

Seriously though, one of the instructors at my karate studio hurt her elbow and had similar tingling and numbness and a chiropractor set it straight, but it still had to heal after that.
Man I need to get back into karate... I've been telling myself this for years.
It's good exercise, depending on the form ๐
probably a pinched nerve or a concussion.
I'm thinking pinched nerve.
But what I really want to do is learn sword fighting. Like, there should be a gym that's just mats and fake swords
I think the closest thing these days is Arnis stick fighting.
The fear is spine damage. But, usually that is accompanied with loss of motor function in the tingly area. The issue is it is normally a progressive thing so, hopefully you don't wake up tomorrow with a non-funtional side. Best of luck man.
Oh cool, I didn't know about this... Filipino stick fighting... Man the Phils gots some cool shit
It's a sick art. Lots of different forms because each family or region has its own style. But if you can fight with a stick, you can fight with a sword.
