No markdown in these parts ser. I believe it was #[2] who was asking for a NIP to fix this
I keep trying too. It has to be implemented eventually.

So not a NIP but idk how that would work if it were up to individual clients. That’d mean people using any client that doesn’t support it would see a bunch of confusing punctuation on notes
Used to work on astral. Not sure if other clients supported markdown
