Everything is expensive. People in the Seattle/Tacoma area are some of the most lethargic I’ve ever met. Can be extremely difficult to find professionals who actually have pride in their work. The politics here are ridiculous. Winter is hard, very dark and cold. By February every year I’m dying for a day of sun. But… it’s absolutely gorgeous and has pockets of freedom lovers. Tons of amazing outdoor adventures. Summer here is glorious. My suggestion is to be east of Tacoma.
