The Parliament committee has asked the government to investigate the feasibility of a crypto currency ban. That is what the ministry has been tasked with. If the government (or Parliament) decides to propose new legislation based on this investigation, a public hearing will be part of the process. That is how legislative processes work. However, what I fear, is that they will try to find ways to implement a ban based on existing legislation, and thereby bypass the thorough legislative process.
