The first live purchase of a hardcover general fiction book for #Lightning payment at @Whitepaper Books was a glowing success. It was a test purchase made by me, but it's all the same. Shopify store, Bitcoin-only payments, connected to the inventory of one of the world's largest book distributors, with shipping fulfilled by the same. Only two books in the inventory at the moment; I'll be generating the full selection of many thousands of books (including a pretty solid economics section) over the coming days and will post an update from the @Whitepaper Books npub when all the lights are green.
