The Nationalist victory also spared them from U.S. and Jewish influence for a few years, since Franco regarded Jews and Freemasonry as enemies. In the final days of the regime, the U.S. once again meddled in Spain and pressured Franco to reinstate the monarchy; when Franco died, the CIA assassinated Carrero Blanco, who was the prime minister at the time and opposed U.S. interests. ETA, the terrorist organization that killed Carrero Blanco, was funded by the CIA and Israel. The King of Spain has also been a CIA informant and has consistently acted against the country’s interests.

Another inconvenient truth. The Spanish Civil War was not a battle between democracy and fascism, as the leftists claim. In Spain, the goal was to establish communism, and the civil war was essentially the Nationalist side—with weapons supplied by Hitler—fighting against the Communist side, which received aid from the Soviet Union. Even today, you can still find ammunition, and you can tell which is German and which is Soviet by its condition—the German ammunition was high quality, while the Soviet ammunition was made of brass and deteriorates very quickly. So we can say that thanks to Hitler, we Spaniards didn’t end up living under communism.
