Lmao basically from 99-present Ford F250+ pickup trucks, you can simply pull the outer door handle off just by pulling hard enough. The studs pull out of the plastic, and hole is large enough you can just reach in and pull on the lock and door latch linkages XD
Try $120k+ these days XD But yeah no biggie. I think i'd be lying if I didn't say that Ford did improve protections if the handle gets ripped off, but not sure they fixed the part where the handle is still made of plastic very easy to grip, and usually owned by relatively large dudes like myself. I've gone through a few if you couldn't tell. I always know that if I lock the keys inside I can just give it a solid yank and I'm back in.
Definitely could have gone higher but not the cheapest option package for sure. Even had the HO version of the 6.7. Basically the classic "what would I buy, I ain't paying that" exercise. A man can dream. That would handle all my towing needs without breaking a sweat for sure.
Yeah those things make over 500hp from the factory. I should be close to the same torque output around 1100 although my turbo is a little large so it raises power more than torque.
Yep. People who got 30yr fixed rate mortgages in the rate dip between 2008 and 2021 are so much better off than people who bought later.
I had a family member get a deal for $120k custom order from the factory 350 srw platinum 4 door long bed. I think it was in 2023 for a 2024 model. So I have no idea what crack they were smoking at the time.
Had to laugh at the biggest toughest truck ever turning out to be smaller than most half tons with a glued on hitch, including chain hooks. No idea who approved that at NHTSA but it is a safety nightmare to have the hitch, chain points, and most obvious breakaway cable connection point all be a single glued on unit that can collectively fall off. Hope you have 1 hell of a trailer light cable.
The great post covid truck shortage. I lived in fear I'd. Need a new truck during that time. My trucks private party resale got close to what I paid a couple of years earlier.
