Basic mathematics implies that we are all direct descendants of King Solomon:
Taking 30 years as the average gap between generations, and recognising that everyone has 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents, etc gives 1 billion ancestors for anyone in particular, for just 900 years! Obviously there is overlap and intermarriage which clouds the issue. But everyone is directly related to royalty.
