That's...a bit weird.
I can and do own my private keys. I secure them and assert that ownership by not sharing those keys with everyone.
How do you figure that you can not own your keys?
Are you referring to the idea that intellectual property and/or ideas can't be owned? I heard this concept the other day and I can't quite wrap my head around it. If that's what you're referring to, could you explain it?
Define ownership. A good working definition is exclusive control over a scarce resource. If you keep your number secret you have exclusive ownership over your Bitcoin.
You won't get that kind of ownership guarantee for land or cars. Stop paying taxes or insurance and see what happens.
