I was very sceptical of Milei, but he balanced the budget in his first month in office, something that I consider nothing short of a miracle. I have seen it promised by politicians countless times, a promise never fulfilled and often not even attempted. His reform efforts are sincere and very brave.
I don't agree with him on foreign policy, he is clearly not in the line of Ron Paul's A Foreign Policy of Freedom: Peace, Commerce, and Honest Friendship". However I don't know if his pro-USA (and by extension pro-Israel) stance is Realpolitik convenience or truly what he believes.
Nevertheless I think that Argentina's foreign policy has very little relevance on the world stage. Their economic policy on the other hand not only has very palpable effects on the people of Argentina, who I wish the best for, but also a significant exemplary effect on much of South America and perhaps further.
He is also the only politician in the world clearly and unambiguously defending libertarian ideas. He has actually mentioned the NAP in multiple speeches. I challenge you to find another president that ever has.

Oh his fiscal side does seem to mostly match the promises, and yea, that's probably for the best.
I'd just prefer to see more on the libertarian leaning right more outspoken against Zionist imperialism. If only because it's annoying to see the leftists get some sort of claim over the cause of liberty for a people who are fighting for their traditional values, families, and homeland.
Maybe Milei's just cosplaying, idk. He's sort of neutral in my book. If he can make an example of Austrian success I guess its a solid win, much like how Mamdani destroying NYC is going to be.
