Imagine what a game changer it would be if we didn’t have to rely on propellant and harnessing gravity for such trips. We will someday have answers to propulsion that don’t rely on simply ejecting mass opposite the desired direction of movement.

if we ever want to get serious about time travel, we'll need a shitload of energy
I think what makes the most sense to me is nuclear energy driving the mechanism that captures, accelerates and ejects Hydrogen in desired direction....
