Nostr's descent into Reddit-esque censorship is predictable, courtesy of relay owners like Damus and Astral, bowing to authoritarian pressure.

People can still comment on anything, and anyone who wants to read that can still read, and Nostr still ensures that followers of the commenter never lose access to him. What you want is a system in which anyone can force their stuff into someone else's face who clearly doesn't want to see that, but that isn't a good thing.

it is more subtle. Not anyone can write to your inbox relay, but anyone can comment on your post and post that comment to anyone relay. It's not censorship, you can still open any dialogue with whoever is interested to see your posts
