yeah. nspawn is for people who like to get their hands dirty with programming systems tooling, not for systems administrators who also happen to be C programmers. idk what the differential in pay grade is but i'm firmly in the DIY group, i have an allergy to abstraction and complexity that standard devops/sysops work involves, i try to make using that stuff optional with my servers.
