I lived out of a rooftop tent for over 2 years and got tired of it… there are some really nice ones out there these days, but I prefer to keep all weight low and not top-load to preserve offroad performance and reduce wear & tear… I can sleep 5 comfortably with the gear I have inside: - 2 people on a Exped combo air/foam mattress inside a spacious hub tent by Overlandish - 2 smaller people inside on the flat top that extends from the rear glass to the front seats - 1 person (or 2 kids) in the Haven + Adventure Hammock Co system that mounts to the front bumper I sleep way better than in the rooftop tent, and we can use the hub tent in many more ways (shade at the beach / place to play cards or hang out with friends that is protected from the mosquitos / etc) Thanks for the interest 🙏🏼

I’d love to see pictures of your set up. I’ll share some of mine too. I have a Tacoma with a GoFast Camper, ARB awning that converts to a tent and a few other goodies.
