Don't forget PWA's can only be saved as an "app" from Apple's own browser Safari. All other web browser apps on iOS are basically Safari with gui wrappers as they have to use Apple's WebKit under the hood. You don't think they will do something about this as well if they feel like it?
They own your device and all the closed source software on it.

That is true, but I hope they’re not crazy enough to start screwing around with web browsers. Nostr is still niche and a small community, so this goes mostly unnoticed by the general public. But if somebody’s corporate web app stops working as a result of Apple’s futile war against zaps, the media shit storm would be massive.
