Like a private gatekeeper/bank? So basically anyone except the artist who actually made the work and paid for the recording gets to make these decisions, and the artist can choose to comply or stop releasing music. Sounds a lot like the legacy world, just slightly worse. Starting to see why onboarding new artists isn’t exactly easy.
